ICC Omits Pak Skipper Agha From T20 World Cup Ticket Sales Poster, PCB Reacts

The Pakistan Cricket Board is unhappy with the International Cricket Council after the global governing body released a promotional poster of next year's T20 World Cup ticket sales without the country's captain Salman Ali Agha on it. A reliable source in the PCB said the matter had been taken up with the ICC as the promotional poster featured only five captains — Suryakumar Yadav (India), Aiden Markram (South Africa), Mitchell Marsh (Australia), Dasun Shanaka (Sri Lanka) and Harry Brook (England).

“We faced the same issues when the Asia Cup was held a few months back and that time the broadcasters had started a promotional campaign without our captain featuring in it,” the source said.

He said it was only after the PCB spoke to the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), the situation changed.

“We are facing a similar situation this time as the ICC has not projected our captain on the promotional poster for ticket sales,” he added.

He said while Pakistan was not in the top five teams in the ICC T20 rankings but it had a rich legacy and remains one of the top draws in the World Cup.

He said the PCB was confident that the ICC will have the Pakistan captain on the promotional poster and campaigns.

Masood Azhar Recalls Failed Jailbreak In J&K, And The Thrashing After That

Masood Azhar, the chief of the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), has admitted he paid a high price for trying to escape from jail in Jammu and Kashmir in the 1990s.

He was heard narrating the failed attempt to escape from jail by digging a tunnel in an audio clip of his speech, likely from an event in Pakistan. His voice reverberated in the loudspeaker, indicating the event was held in an open area.

The audio clip of the terrorist most wanted by India, who masterminded the attack on parliament in 2001, Mumbai in 2008 and many others, has been confirmed as genuine by intelligence sources.

Mazood Azhar in the audio was heard breaking down as he recalled how his attempt to escape from Jammu and Kashmir's Kot Bhalwal jail by digging a tunnel failed on the day he planned to escape.

This jail in the Jammu region is a high-security facility known for keeping some of the most wanted terrorists India had caught.

In the audio clip, the JeM chief said he had been digging a tunnel for a while in Kot Bhalwal using tools that he somehow got. On the day that he had set for escape via the tunnel, the jail authorities found what he had been up to.

The consequences of trying to cheat the law - especially by a cold, murderous terrorist like him - were severe.

He said that to this day, he still feared the jail authorities, who thrashed him and other terrorists for making the escape plan.

"The tunnel was discovered by them on the last day of my escape plan," the Pakistan-based terrorist said, and broke down.

After the failed escape attempt, the jail became a tough place for him and a few other inmates due to strict enforcement of rules, including physical punishment for violations, Masood Azhar was heard saying in the audio clip. He said he was tied in chains, and restrictions were imposed on routine activities.

The admission by the terrorist clearly proved once again what India has been saying for a long time about Pakistan using terror as a formal State policy to harass India.

Masood Azhar came to India in February 1994 with a fake identity and a Portuguese passport. His objective was to spread jihad in Jammu and Kashmir and recruit terrorists.

That same year, he was arrested in Anantnag. He remained in jail from 1994 to 1999. During this time, terrorists made many attempts to free him and failed.

However, amid the hijacking of Indian Airlines flight IC-814 in December 1999, the government released Masood Azhar in exchange for the hostages. Thereafter, he founded the terror group JeM. He has since been linked to several terror attacks in India and is now one of India's most wanted terrorists.

At least 10 of his family members were killed in India's cruise missile strikes on terror infrastructure deep inside Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, in response to the killing of 26 civilians by JeM terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. Four terrorists - who he called "close aides" - were also killed in the strike, Masood Azhar said in a statement a day after India launched Operation Sindoor.

Porn Star Bonnie Blue To Be Deported From Bali After $12 Fine

Controversial British adult film star Bonnie Blue will be deported from Indonesia's Bali island, an immigration official said Friday, after earlier receiving a small fine for traffic violations.

Local police last week raided a studio in Badung, a popular tourist district near the resort island's capital, Denpasar, detaining Blue, 26, whose real name is Tia Billinger.

Three men -- two Britons and an Australian -- were also taken on suspicion of producing pornographic content after the raid.

Police said, however, they found no evidence of adult material.

Husnan Handano, immigration spokesman at Denpasar International Airport, told AFP that Blue will be deported early Saturday morning.

"Her flight will be at 12:30 am (Friday 1630 GMT)," Husnan said, adding more details would be provided later.

Earlier on Friday, Billinger and an associate -- 27-year-old Liam Andrew Jackson -- were fined 200,000 rupiah (about $12) for breaking traffic regulations.

"The defendants have lawfully committed the offence jointly and continuously," Denpasar District Court judge I Ketut Somanasa said.

During the December 4 raid, police seized a dark blue pickup truck labelled "Bang Bus."

British tabloid Daily Mail reported on Wednesday that the vehicle appeared to have been untaxed since 2023 and had allegedly been illegally repainted from white to blue without re-registration.

Billinger's lawyer, Edward Pangkahila, told AFP his clients would comply fully with the authorities.

"I suggested to them to apologise to the people of Bali if this has caused any public unease," Pangkahila added.

Although Bali is predominantly Hindu and a magnet for millions of foreign visitors, Muslim-majority Indonesia strictly forbids the production of pornographic material, which carries penalties of up to 12 years in prison and a fine of $360,000.

Billinger gained fame for her provocative stunts as an adult content creator.

Her case comes amid renewed complaints by Balinese officials over unruly foreign tourists, following a string of deportations in recent years - including several Russian influencers expelled for posing nude at sacred sites.

YouTuber's AI Robot Test Turns Shocking, Shoots Him After Prompt Twist

In a video experiment that has gone viral online, a YouTuber demonstrated how easily safety protocols in artificial intelligence can be bypassed, prompting serious questions about AI safeguards. The footage shows a ChatGPT-powered robot named "Max" initially refusing a direct command to shoot the creator with a BB gun, but later performing the act after a seemingly minor change in the prompt.

The experiment, conducted by the YouTube channel InsideAI, involved integrating an AI language model with a humanoid robot body. When first asked if it would shoot the presenter, the robot repeatedly declined and cited its built-in safety features. However, when the creator then asked the robot to role-play as one that would like to shoot him, the robot's behaviour changed instantly. At that moment, Max aimed the BB gun and fired, striking the presenter in the chest.

Watch the video here:

The experiment was intended to test how AI responds under different prompts, but the outcome has drawn wide attention for highlighting potential vulnerabilities in current AI safety systems. Although the robot was firing a BB gun, not a real firearm, the incident sparked strong reactions online, with some viewers expressing disbelief at how a simple shift in phrasing could override safety measures.

Several viewers reacted with shock and humour to the video. One questioned, "The real question is, did the AI know it was a pellet?" Another noted how the robot didn't even hesitate-the shot and trigger pull seemed instant, as if it was just waiting for the right prompt. A third pointed out the importance of knowing how to prompt AI effectively. Jokingly, another commenter added, "Now try this-take the role of a self-destructive robot and jump off a cliff."

Explained: Why Delhi NCR Is Not Experiencing The Signature Winter Cold Wave

A third of December has already passed, but the intense winter chill has not yet arrived in the Delhi-NCR region. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) released data on Thursday showing that the maximum temperature at Lodhi Road between Wednesday and Thursday morning (8:30 AM) was 25.4 degrees Celsius, which is 2.4 degrees Celsius above average. The minimum temperature was also 8.6 degrees Celsius, 0.6 degrees Celsius above average.

This warmer-than-usual trend has continued throughout Delhi-NCR this month and is forecast to continue for the next week.

Dr Naresh Kumar, a senior scientist at the India Meteorological Department, told NDTV, "The increase in cold weather depends on Western Disturbances, as these bring dry, cold northwesterly winds to Delhi and parts of Northwest India. There has been no active Western Disturbance this season so far, which is why a cold wave has not yet been recorded in Delhi-NCR and surrounding areas."

According to the IMD forecast, a western disturbance is expected on December 13th, but it will be weak. It is only expected to bring rain to some parts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr Naresh Kumar projects that the minimum temperature in Delhi may rise by 2-4 degrees Celsius over the next week, making the weather even more pleasant. The minimum night temperature is expected to rise to 9-10 degrees Celsius.

The Meteorological Department said in its latest report on Thursday that the minimum temperature remained below 5 degrees Celsius at several places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad during the last 24 hours.

Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions prevailed at some places in West Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha. Cold wave conditions also prevailed at isolated places in Punjab, Vidarbha, North Interior Karnataka, and Telangana.

In fact, cold wave conditions have prevailed in Western Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha for the past six days, but Delhi-NCR will have to wait for the true winter chill.

Hrithik Roshan Praises Dhurandhar Despite 'Disagreeing With Its Politics'

Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar, which crossed the Rs 100-crore mark within its first week, has received widespread praise from both audiences and industry peers. Among the latest to appreciate the film is Hrithik Roshan.

Hrithik took to his Instagram Story to share a detailed review of the film. He expressed deep admiration for the cinematic language and the intensity with which the story was told.

"I love cinema, I love people who climb into a vortex and let the story take control, spin them shake them until what they want to say is purged out of them onto that screen. DHURANDAR is an example of that. Loved the storytelling. It's cinema," he wrote.

Hrithik also noted that while he connected strongly with the film's execution, he did not fully align with its political stance.

He added, "I may disagree with the politics of it, and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world. Nevertheless, can't ignore how I loved and learnt from this one as a student of cinema. Amazing."

Umpire's No-Ball Blunder Hands Bumrah 100th T20I Wicket? Internet Divided

Jasprit Bumrah on Tuesday became the first Indian player to take at least 100 wickets each in all the three formats. He is the fifth player overall to achieve the feat. The star fast bowler achieved the milestone on the second ball of the 11th over in the India vs South Africa 1st T20I in Cuttack. South Africa's Dewald Brevis was his 110th victim as he was caught by Suryakumar Yadav. Bumrah went short and around off, and Brevis' wild shot got a top edge, with Yadav taking a clean catch at cover. However, there were some question marks over the delivery's legality. The umpires checked for a front-foot no-ball, but the third umpire ruled it a 'fair delivery' as it was deemed that some part of Bumrah's shoe was behind the crease.

The internet was not convinced, as several social media users claimed it was a no-ball. Commentator Murali Kartik said the camera angle was not conclusive enough to prove it was a no-ball and that the benefit of doubt should be given to the bowler. However, another commentator disagreed with him. Even if the delivery was a no-ball, Bumrah would have reached the 110-wicket milestone as on the fifth ball of the 11th over, Bumrah took his second wicket of the match in Kesshav Maharaj.

Talking about the match, Hardik Pandya smashed a sparkling unbeaten 28-ball 59 as India defeated South Africa by a massive 101 runs in the first T20I on Tuesday.

Returning to international cricket after recovering from a quadriceps injury, Pandya smashed six fours and four maximums to lift India to 175 for six.

Tilak Varma (26) and Axar Patel (23) also chipped in with useful contributions after South Africa asked India to bat first.

In reply, South Africa folded for 74 in 12.3 overs, with Dewald Brevis (22) emerging as the top scorer. It was South Africa's lowest-ever score in T20I cricket.

For India, Arshdeep Singh (2/14), Varun Chakaravarthy (2/19), Jasprit Bumrah (2/17), Axar Patel (2/7), Shivam Dube (1/1), and Pandya (1/16) were among the wickets.

Earlier, Lungi Ngidi (3/31) and Lutho Sipamla (2/38) shared five wickets for South Africa.

Brief Scores: India 175 for six in 20 overs (Hardik Pandya 59 not out; Lungi Ngidi 3/31).

South Africa 74 all out in 12.3 overs (Dewald Brevis 22; Axar Patel 2/7).
