Shah Rukh Khan, Son Aryan Arrive At Breach Candy Hospital To Meet Dharmendra

Shah Rukh Khan was spotted arriving at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Monday to visit veteran actor Dharmendra. The actor was accompanied by his elder son, Aryan Khan.

The father-son duo paid a visit to the legendary actor, who has been under medical observation for the past few days. Their presence at the hospital comes amid growing concern from fans and colleagues over the 89-year-old actor's health.

Earlier in the evening, Dharmendra's family members - Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, and Tanya Deol - were also seen arriving at the hospital.

A while before Shah Rukh Khan's visit, Salman Khan had dropped by to check on the veteran star's condition.

Providing an update on her husband's condition, Hema Malini took to Instagram to share a message of reassurance and gratitude. "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery," she wrote.

On the other hand, the statement shared by Dharmendra's family read, "Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. We request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family's right to privacy."

Dharmendra has been in and out of Breach Candy Hospital in recent days for health check-ups and observation.

Meanwhile, he was last seen in the films Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

UK Founder 'Bored' After Selling Company For Rs 4,670 Crore, Returns To Work

Tom Grogan, a 35-year-old entrepreneur, became a multimillionaire after selling a majority stake in Wingstop UK to a US-based private equity firm in a deal worth 400 million pounds (Rs 4,670 crore). Despite the financial success, he admits that early retirement hasn't brought him happiness, and he's now planning a return to work. According to Fortune, Grogan spent nearly 10 years building the Wingstop brand in the UK from the ground up, starting with a cold email to Texas, enduring over 50 investor rejections, and eventually launching 57 restaurants. However, adjusting to life post-exit has brought its own unexpected set of challenges.

"For seven years, your whole mind is occupied on making a success of this business. It's all you think about. And then when you get there, it's just a bit surreal. It's like, Okay, it's done now. Now what? And money doesn't necessarily fill that void either," he said.

Grogan, who started his career as a construction worker earning 5 pounds an hour, is now planning to return to work, though he's unsure of his next venture, other than that "it probably won't be in the world of food and beverages".

"You have to now change your head from we're not business building anymore. We've gone from being an entrepreneur to managing money—and they're two different skill sets. So we have to discover the world of financial instruments, stocks, bonds—all of that stuff that's all new to us, but we're being strategically careful," the entrepreneur added.

Despite his massive wealth, he's not splurging on luxuries, still renting, and thinking about his next move with cofounders Herman Sahota and Saul Lewin.

"It's boring. I can't live life sat on a beach. I think we need something to occupy our minds, to challenge ourselves. You need a purpose every day to wake up for, which we don't have right now," he said.

'Lack of Purpose"

Tom Grogan's not alone in feeling empty after selling his business. Even Airbnb's Brian Chesky felt the same after his company's IPO made him a billionaire. He thought success would bring love and fix everything, but it was a letdown. He describes the winning moment as "one of the saddest periods" of his life.

"At the bottom of the mountain, you have hope. But the problem is when you get to the top of the mountain oftentimes you are at the top by yourself, disconnected," Chesky said.

Earlier, Siddharth Shankar, an Indian-origin entrepreneur who sold his business for $500 million, also talked about the emotional aftermath of the exit, highlighting how it conflicted with his family's expectations of happiness. In an interview, he revealed that he found the transition tough after selling his company, mainly because he missed having a daily routine. After 15 years of being constantly engaged, he struggled with the sudden lack of purpose, joking about the limits of leisure activities like PlayStation and golf. He found it hard to switch off from his entrepreneurial mindset.

Despite the external validation, he struggled with the sudden lack of purpose and meaning in his life.

Tribal Women Fall At Officer's Feet In Madhya Pradesh, Plead For Justice

In a heart-wrenching scene that exposes the plight of tribal communities facing land grabs in Madhya Pradesh, two tribal women in Sheopur's Karahal block fell at the feet of the local Tehsildar, pleading for help to reclaim their ancestral land allegedly seized by powerful individuals and land mafias.

The incident occurred at the Karahal tehsil office, where Savitri Bai, a resident of Khirkhiri village, arrived with her daughter-in-law to submit yet another application seeking action against those who had encroached on her land.

As Tehsildar Roshni Sheikh was leaving the office, the women, overcome with desperation, clutched her feet on the staircase and broke down in tears.

According to witnesses, Savitri Bai begged the officer to intervene, saying, "Madam, please do something, or we will die by suicide."

The women claimed that influential people from their village had demolished their hut and forcibly occupied the land where their family had been living for years, even constructing new buildings on it.

Despite repeatedly filing complaints with both the police and the tehsil office, the women alleged that no action had been taken.

Moved by their plea, Tehsildar Roshni Sheikh stopped on the stairs, sat down to listen to the women, and assured them that she would personally investigate the matter.

She instructed officials to look into the complaint with the local official and take immediate steps to free the land from illegal occupation.

Local residents and activists say that the case reflects a deeper issue across the Karahal tribal development block, where several tribal families have reportedly been struggling for years to reclaim their land from influential encroachers and land mafias.

Many complain that administrative inaction and political pressure have emboldened the wrongdoers, leaving marginalised communities to fend for themselves.

"Impressed Me More Than Any Senior": Anjum Praises Two Stars After India's Win

November 2, 2025 will undoubtedly go down as one of the most memorable moments in the history of Indian cricket. On this day, Team India defeated South Africa in a thrilling grand finale to win their first-ever ICC Women's ODI World Cup title. Led by the dynamic Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian women's team made the entire nation proud on the biggest stage. This victory was especially significant as it came after India's third appearance in a World Cup final. Previously, India had reached the finals in 2005 and 2017 but fell short on both occasions.

After the win, the team joyously celebrated on the field, and one gesture left everyone emotional. As Harmanpreet collected the trophy from ICC chairman Jay Shah, the team invited former captains Mithali Raj, Anjum Chopra, and ex-pacer Jhulan Goswami to join the celebration.

These legendary cricketers played a pivotal role in elevating Indian women's cricket to new heights. To honor their tremendous contributions, the current team celebrated the World Cup triumph alongside them.

In an exclusive chat with NDTV, Anjum Chopra spoke about the emotions she felt during the celebration, calling it a "special" moment.

"That moment was very special. For all of us who were present at the ground that day, celebrating with the current lot was just beautiful," Anjum told NDTV.

The former captain further shared that she had been waiting for pacer Renuka Singh Thakur to regain fitness and dominate with her bowling. She also praised youngsters Kranti Goud and Shree Charani for their standout performances.

"It's not that I wasn't expecting anyone to perform, but I had a question mark about Renuka Singh Thakur-when would she be match-fit? Once she was ready, the team knew exactly when to bring her into the Playing XI, and from there she just got better and better," said Anjum.

"What impressed me the most was how Shree Charani and Kranti Goud played in this World Cup. This was their first appearance, and they are just six months into the Indian team. The way these two youngsters performed and delivered at the highest level was remarkable. I wouldn't say I was surprised, but they impressed me more than any senior player in the team," she added.

Notably, spinner Shree Charani took 14 wickets in nine matches, finishing as the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the tournament. Meanwhile, pacer Kranti Goud claimed nine wickets in eight games, further cementing her place as a rising star.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is rumoured to be dating The Family Man director Raj Nidimoru for quite some time now. While neither of them has officially confirmed nor denied the relationship, the two are often seen spending time together. Time and again, Samantha's social media posts have also fuelled the romance speculations.

In her latest Instagram entry, the actress shared a series of pictures from the launch of her new perfume brand. However, it was her photo with her long-rumoured beau that stole all the attention.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was seen dressed in a daring lace bralette and high-waist pants, while Raj wore a navy blue jacket paired with a black T-shirt. The actress stood close to Raj with her arms around him as he held her by the waist. In other images from the event, she posed with fellow attendees while Raj stood behind her. After NDTV Report, Children Finally Get Steel Plates For Midday Meals

Two days after NDTV's report revealed that students at Hullpur Government School in Sheopur were being served their midday meals on sheets of waste paper, the district administration swung into action. On Saturday, the same children who had been eating food on crumpled newspapers were finally served meals on steel plates.

The development followed a sharp reaction from Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi, who took to social media platform X on Thursday after reading NDTV's story.

Tagging NDTV's reporter, Gandhi wrote, "I'm going to Madhya Pradesh today. Since I saw the news that children there were being served midday meals on newspapers, my heart is broken. These are the innocent children whose dreams depend on the country's future and they don't even have a plate of dignity. More than 20 years of BJP rule, and even children's plates were stolen. Their 'development' is just an illusion; the real secret to power is 'system'. Such a Chief Minister and Prime Minister should be ashamed."

His post titled "Children's plates stolen" went viral, prompting swift administrative response in Sheopur.

The Madhya Pradesh government was quick to counter the Congress leader's criticism. School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh issued a statement asserting that corrective steps were already underway before Rahul Gandhi's post.

"Even before his tweet, the sensitive government under Dr Mohan Yadav had acted against the self-help group and school teacher responsible. Monitoring teams have been formed to ensure such negligence is not repeated."

Singh also hit back politically, questioning the Congress's record.

"We ask why, in November 2024, about 50 students in Telangana's Narayanpet district were hospitalised after eating a midday meal made with rotten grains. Is the Congress chief minister of Telangana and Rahul Gandhi ashamed of that? Has any action been taken there?"

The minister said the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh "remains committed to good governance" and "takes strict action wherever errors occur."

Following the controversy, former Forest Minister Ramnivas Rawat and subdivisional magistrate Abhishek Mishra visited Hullpur School on Saturday, joining the children for lunch to review the food's quality and cleanliness. "Such negligence will no longer be tolerated," they said.

The officials confirmed that the school in-charge Bhogiram Dhakad had been suspended and that the self-help group's contract for supplying food had been cancelled.

The controversy began on November 4, when a video surfaced showing children eating their midday meal off discarded paper sheets. The visuals, which quickly went viral, drew widespread criticism for the administration's apathy.

Following the video's circulation, District Education Officer Harishankar Garg visited the school and filed a detailed report. The self-help group responsible consisting of five women claimed that only three workers were available that week and that they had used paper to "avoid dishwashing." Parents had reportedly not filed any complaints before the video came to light.

Collector and District Magistrate Arpit Verma has now ordered a strict review of the midday meal scheme across the district. He directed all school principals and panchayat officials to ensure hygienic conditions and adequate utensils for every child.

"Negligence in providing food to children will not be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against any official or group found responsible," Verma said.

What began as an NDTV's story has now forced the system to act and for the first time in weeks, the children of Hullpur didn't have to eat off scraps of paper, but from plates of dignity.

"What's Your Skincare Routine," Harleen Deol Asks PM Modi. His Reply

As Prime Minister Modi met and commended the Indian women's cricket team for their "remarkable resilience and comeback" in the World Cup, he was asked a cheeky question: What is his skincare routine?

The question came from top-order batter Harleen Deol, who also told the Prime Minister that he "glows a lot". Her query had the entire room in splits.

"I never thought about this much," PM Modi said, as he spoke to the players on Wednesday. A video of the interaction was broadcast on Thursday.

When all-rounder Sneh Rana said "it is the love of his countrymen" that makes the Prime Minister glow, the latter responded: "Of course it is. It is a huge source of strength. I have spent lots of years in the government."

He added: "Despite all this, the blessings keep coming in and it does have an effect on you eventually."

On Sunday, the Indian women's cricket team beat South Africa to win their first-ever ICC Women's ODI World Cup in Navi Mumbai.

It was a watershed moment for Indian women's cricket as years of toil and near-misses culminated to redemption and history, with the team defeating South Africa by 52 runs in the final Sunday night to become only the fourth side to lift the ODI title.

"I still remember when we met you in 2017. At that time, we did not come with a trophy. But it is a matter of great honour for us that this time, for something we have been working so hard for so many years, we have brought the trophy here," skipper Harmanpreet Kaur told PM Modi.

"Our aim is that we meet you again and again in the future and take photos with you and your team again and again," she added.

In their second appearance in the Women's World Cup final in 2017, India had lost to England by a mere nine runs after which the squad had met the Prime Minister.

In response to Kaur's remarks, PM Modi said: "You have done a great job. In India, cricket is not just a game. In a way, it has become the life of the people of India. If there is good happening in cricket, India feels good and even if there is a little bit of wrong happening in cricket, the whole of India feels bad."

The Prime Minister also asked Player of the Tournament Deepti Sharma about her Hanuman tattoo that has gone viral on social media.
