On Camera, Man Urinates Out Of Moving Thar In Gurugram

A man has taken car 'stunts' to a whole new level in Gurugram.

A video which is going viral shows a Mahindra Thar being driven recklessly near the Sadar Bazaar area in the city while the passenger stands on the side step with the door open and urinates from the moving vehicle.

The incident took place on Wednesday and was caught on camera by someone in a car behind the Thar. As the video started being widely shared, the police took note and registered a case.

Investigation revealed that the car was being driven by 23-year-old Mohit and the passenger who did the deed was Anuj, 25, both residents of Jhajjar in Haryana.

Both of them were arrested on Friday and the Thar has also been seized.

"Investigation revealed that the Thar vehicle used in the crime belonged to Mohit. Mohit was driving the vehicle carelessly and negligently, while Anuj committed the shameful act of urinating out of the moving vehicle," said Sandeep Kumar, police spokesperson, Gurugram.

"Mohit has been booked in Rajasthan's Jhajjar in a case of murder, two cases of brawling and one case under the Arms Act in Haryana's Rohtak. He was arrested and sent to jail in a case registered in Jhajjar, and was released on bail in December 2022. We are questioning the accused," an official was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.

Shubman Gill Pinpoints Reason After India Go Down vs Australia In 2nd ODI

India captain Shubman Gill admitted that dropped catches and a total that was just adequate cost his side dearly, as Australia clinched the ODI series with a disciplined all-round performance on Wednesday. India lost the second ODI by two wickets after a seven-wicket defeat in the first match at Perth. In this match, the Indian fielders were not at their sharpest, spilling at least three chances-including one off Matthew Short, who made a fine 74 off 78 balls.

"We had just enough runs on the board. It's never easy when you drop a couple of chances and try to defend that kind of total," Gill said during the post-match presentation ceremony.

The young skipper didn't find any demons in the pitch either.

"In the first game, the toss was more crucial because of the rain, but in this one, both teams played for almost 50 overs. The wicket did a little early on, but it settled nicely after 15-20 overs," Gill said.

The 26-year-old praised senior batter Rohit Sharma for his fighting knock of 73.

"It's never easy coming back and playing after a long time. The initial phase was challenging, but I'm very pleased with how he batted. He fought well; I'd say he missed out on a really big knock," the India skipper said.

Australia, led by Mitchell Marsh, displayed depth in both departments, and the home skipper hailed his bowling attack and the composure of the younger batters.

"Hazlewood was unbelievable. Our bowling unit kept trying to pick wickets. It was awesome batting from the youngsters-the future is bright for Australian cricket. We'll certainly enjoy the series win, but won't celebrate too much tonight. India are a fantastic side, great experience," Marsh said.

Leg-spinner Adam Zampa, who was named Player of the Match for his four-wicket haul, once again proved decisive in the middle overs.

"Nice to beat India. It's always been a good battle against them, particularly in one-day cricket. Two teams that have adapted to the conditions really well. They're the best team in the world," Zampa said.

He credited Australia's pacers for setting up the platform: "Those guys have been owning the powerplay for a long time... it makes my job easier through the middle. I've been very grateful and lucky. And then you've got the guys coming in-Xavier Bartlett, Nathan Ellis-doing their thing through the middle. It makes my job a lot easier. The beauty of Mitch (Marsh) is that he's chilled, relaxed, never too emotional. We run our own show out there with the ball," he said.

Trump To Meet China's Xi In South Korea, Cancels Meeting With Russia's Putin

United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday (local time) announced his upcoming diplomatic trip to Malaysia, South Korea, and Japan, highlighting a significant meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea.

Trump also revealed that he cancelled a planned summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing a lack of progress in diplomatic efforts. "It didn't feel right to me," Trump said, adding that he didn't want a "wasted meeting."

"Next week, we'll be going to Malaysia, South Korea, and Japan. In South Korea, I'll be meeting with President Xi of China. We'll have a pretty long meeting scheduled. We can work out a lot of our questions and our doubts and our tremendous assets together... We cancelled the meeting with President Putin. It didn't feel right to me. It didn't feel like we were going to get to the place we have to get, so I cancelled it...," said Trump.

The cancellation of the Putin summit follows Russia's rejection of Trump's proposed ceasefire plan in Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump is optimistic about his upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, hoping to leverage their discussion to end the Russia-Ukraine war. He plans to discuss energy and oil with Xi, aiming to pressure Russia into negotiating a peace agreement.

"I will probably be talking about it. What I will really be talking about is how we would end the war with Russia and Ukraine, whether through energy, oil or anything else. I think he (Xi Jinping) is going to be very receptive. I think he would like to see the war end," Trump said while interacting with press persons in the White House, where he hosted NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Notably, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit is scheduled to take place in South Korea from October 30 to November 1 in Gyeongju.

President Trump further said that he is hopeful that the Chinese President can have a "big influence" on Putin to urge him to a ceasefire.

"I think he will have a big influence on Putin. I think he can have a big influence on a lot of people. He is a respected man, a very strong leader, very big country, I think he can have a big influence," Trump added.

Trump claimed that his predecessors, former Presidents Joseph Biden and Barack Obama "forced" Russia and China together.

"China is a little bit different. A little bit different relationship they had with Russia. It was never good but because of Biden and Obama they got forced together, they never should have been forced together but by nature they can't be friendly. I hope they are friendly, frankly. You should not have forced China and Russia together. Biden did that and Obama did that. They forced them together because of energy, oil", he said.

Prabhas And Prakash Raj Face Off In Spirit Audio Teaser

What's Happening

  • He captioned the post, "Happy Birthday Prabhas anna. Presenting a 'SOUND-STORY' in five Indian languages straight from the heart, for every fan who's felt his. Hindi."

  • Towards the end of the video, Prabhas delivers a striking line: "I have had just one bad habit since childhood."

Putin Brushes Off Trump's Oil Sanctions, Issues A Tomahawk Warning

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday the latest US sanctions targeting two major oil firms were "serious", but not strong enough to significantly affect the economy.

The United States on Wednesday hit Russia's two biggest oil producers -- Rosneft and Lukoil -- with sanctions, the first against Russia since US President Donald Trump returned to office.

"They (sanctions) are serious for us, of course, that is clear. And they will have certain consequences, but they will not significantly impact our economic well-being," Putin told reporters.

He added that the sanctions were an "unfriendly act" that "does not strengthen Russia-US relations, which have only just begun to recover."

Trump attempted to foster ties with Russia at the start of his term but has become increasingly frustrated with Putin's refusal to agree to a ceasefire, complaining that his peace talks with him were not going "anywhere".

The Republican president held off introducing new restrictions against Russia for months, but his patience snapped after plans for a fresh summit with Putin in Budapest collapsed.

Still, even after new sanctions and the summit's postponement, Putin appeared to remain open to dialogue.

"Dialogue is always better than confrontation or any disputes, and especially war. We have always supported the continuation of dialogue," Putin told journalists.

But if Russia was attacked with US Tomahawk missiles, which Ukraine seeks, the response would be "very strong, if not overwhelming," he added.

Dabangg Director Abhinav Kashyap Calls Aamir Khan "Sabse Chaalaak Lomdi"

Filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap has once again made waves with his outspoken remarks on Bollywood's power structure. In a recent interview with Bollywood Thikana, Kashyap launched a scathing critique of Aamir Khan, sharing his personal experiences of working with the actor during ad film shoots and accusing him of being overly manipulative and controlling.

"Working With Him Is Exhausting"

Recalling his experience with Aamir, Kashyap said that while the actor may be celebrated as a perfectionist, working with him is far from easy.

"Wo sabse chaalaak lomdi hai. Batla. Wo Salman se bhi chota hai height me lekin kya manipulative aadmi hai. Aur sabse shaatir chor hai. I made 2-3 ads with Aamir. He is very particular, and working with him is exhausting; he drains you out. He interferes in everything - editing, direction, everything. It's an entire ecosystem maintained for strict control."

The filmmaker described Aamir as someone who dominates every aspect of production, making it difficult for others to freely contribute.

Calls Aamir's Perfectionism A "Myth"

Kashyap also took a jab at Aamir's much-talked-about perfectionism, suggesting that the actor's approach adds little to the final result.

"Having worked so much, I observe that if Aamir gives 25 takes, his first and last are often the same. He watches each of his takes and then says, 'One more, a little more, this is left, that is left,' but ultimately, there's nothing," he said.

According to Kashyap, Aamir's insistence on endless retakes gives the illusion of depth and effort but often leads nowhere creatively.

Questions Filmmakers' Repeated Collaboration With Aamir

The Dabangg director also questioned why some of the industry's most respected filmmakers continue to collaborate with Aamir despite his alleged interference.

"Rajkumar Hirani is a very strong filmmaker and should move on to work with other actors and make his own films. But he still goes to Aamir. Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and Rajkumar Hirani - I respect them - they are very successful. So why do people keep meeting at Aamir Khan's house? What is it in him that others don't have?"

Questions Aamir Khan's Social Responsibility

Shifting focus to Aamir's influence beyond cinema, Kashyap raised questions about the actor's social contributions.

"The stars you talk about earn well and contribute to society. During floods, for example, what has Aamir Khan done? His biggest hit is Dangal, which was very successful. He claims he earned 2000 crore rupees from China," he said.

He went on to refer to Mahavir Phogat, whose life inspired Dangal, and criticised Aamir for allegedly refusing to help him further.

"I read somewhere that Mahavir Phogat, whose story inspired Dangal, requested to open an Akhada in Haryana for training children. But it was reported that Aamir Khan refused. How much does it cost to open an Akhada? All that money was for Mahavir Phogat's story, so I understand he doesn't owe him anything. Perhaps he paid for the rights," the filmmaker added.

Kashyap concluded by claiming that Aamir oversteps his boundaries as an actor, often taking over creative decisions.

Indian Entrepreneur To Leave Canada Over Bureaucratic Troubles, Post Viral

An Indian-origin entrepreneur running an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Foodtech platform in Canada has gone viral after announcing his plans to leave the country. Maulik Pandya, the CEO and founder of Eatance, took to LinkedIn to announce his decision after enduring a bureaucratic nightmare where he faced a "new trap from the Canadian system" almost every day.

"We are leaving Canada. We made this decision through tears. We are dissolving our beautiful nest we built with love as family of four with two wonderful daughters," wrote Pandya.

"We did not come to this lightly. We have spent many sleepless nights, cried and watched our mental health and physical health fade," he added.

Pandya said his family's journey in Canada was cut short owing to the bureaucratic hurdles that led to issues regarding her daughter's education and the company's future. Pandya said he kept losing money while paying taxes, creating jobs and contributing to the economy.

"Many countries provide a single window for startups and for businesses. In Canada we met delays and traps. It felt as if our innocent children became targets. That is our lived experience," he said.

Pandya added he was planning for his child to continue their education in the UAE or India. "Our decision is simple. We are not asking for anything more. We are closing this chapter and moving forward for the sake of our children and our peace," he said.

'Come Back To India'

As the post gained significant traction online, a section of social media users sympathised with Pandya, whilst others advised him to return to India and expand his company.

"This is heartbreaking to read. After such an immense effort, I deeply admire your strength and resolve to make this decision for your family's well-being and future," said one user, while another added: "I hope you are coming back to India. Use the learning, life lessons and build your next venture in India. In next six months, you will heal your trauma and have a more cheerful life."

A third commented: "It's heartbreaking to see how often brilliant minds are pushed away by red tape. But sometimes, what feels like an ending is actually a redirection, back to where you're meant to build."

A fourth said: "I am praying for you and the family, and I wish you the very best as you build your next chapter in business and life. It takes a very strong person to make this type of decision, Maulik."
